My attempt at a home made dog toy for Ali.  I didn't realize it would be so difficult to sew over an overstuffed bone shaped toy but believe me it is. A word of advice, reinforce the stitching before putting in the stuffing if you don't want to end up with a frankenstein looking bone.

My dress!  I went through some old boxes at my parents house and found this gigantic vintage dress that I'm sure I was going to ruin somehow when I was a teenager. I took it in in a few places, made the sleeves smaller and brought up the hemline...a lot.  The after picture isn't so great (my silly sisters) but you get the idea.

I found these vintage buttons and beautiful madras and white eco-friendly fabrics at Michael Levine in Downtown Los Angeles. I'm so inspired and can't wait to create some patterns for breezy summer blouses.
