Gosh dang it!  Why do I have to read blogs and actually click on the links!  I may have accidentally bought this bad boy...

I've rediscovered the wonder that is my Domino book of decorating and I keep going back to this dining room.  So what did I do?  I drove on down to Chinatown and found the most gigantic paper lantern they had and scooped it up.  I haven't put it up yet but something about playing with scale makes me really happy. Yes, strange random things make me happy like U's.

This makes me so happy.  It's one of the few things that really stuck with me from childhood, it brings a  smile to my face to see it again.

I have a not so secret obsession with studs, so when I came across these pieces by Wendy Nichol in Confederacy the other day I was really excited.  Made Her Think also makes a very delicate gold ring with a teeny tiny little stud on top, that I would have snatched up right then and there if my man hadn't told me he just might be going back there for my birthday...in 3 months...

I can't help it. I sat on this couch in the store and now I can't live without it.  It looks green in photographs but in person it is much more gray and it's soooo comfortable.  Ok I'll stop now.
