I know it's been done but I can't help it I still want these. I was looking for this awesome metal and leather magazine holder I saw at Haus Interior. The magazine holder is gone but these things caught my eye.

Oh how I wish I could be this gorgeous on a motorcycle....well not a real one but those cute little 50CC mopeds that I see all the hipster boys riding down Sunset. I think it would go perfectly with my tool kit and my power drill.

Monday's at The York = Action Trivia Night! Stopped in for dinner and a glass of wine with a friend and ended up as one half of the "Sssthuper Duper Duo." The food is pretty darn amazing especially for a bar. She had the cheddar burger and I had the truffle mac and cheese. I highly recommend brunch here on weekends.
What a fantastic Sunday! After riding our bikes down to Forage for Blue Bottle Coffee (Justin is obsessed) and chamomile lavender cake with mascarpone frosting, we grabbed the dog and went for a hike in sunny Elysian Park.

For dinner we used all ingredients from our trip to the farmers market. First course: seared scallop salad with red onion, fennel and baby greens tossed with a orange muscat champagne vinaigrette. Second course: mustard caper and lemon crusted swordfish over pea tendrils with roasted creamer potatoes. Yummy yummy yum. A delicious end to a great weekend with my man.
Stumbled upon these desk lamps at Pepe's today and can't decide if I really want the circular one with the silver or not. The guy wanted $45 which kept me from buying it on the spot. It's plastic man!
Went to Walgreen's to pick up the usual stuff, face wash, lotion, toothpaste, oh yeah and my new boyfriend (Valentine's day edition that is). Haaaaay! I don't think Justin will be too jealous.
Our house was feeling a little cold last weekend.....so we warmed it!
We had a potluck/housewarming party and it was sooo lovely. Too bad we didn't get pics of all of our wonderful friends who came...I guess that's what happens when you bring out the camera after several drinks! Thank you all for coming and celebrating with us!
