I saw this over at Design*Sponge and had to repost it here. What a cleaver DIY way to cover up those ugly old alarm clocks. It almost makes me want one!
Hehehe and look here's one to cover up ugly planters...just kidding. I crack myself up.
I was flipping through the latest W magazine today and I have to say I'm not sure how I feel about the new Alexander McQueen Eyes campaign. I know the skull is used by the brand, but still...
I was doing a little shopping at GoodWill the other day (yeah right I'm there everyday) and picked up this amazing pair of trousers that fit like a dream, but I didn't recognize the label. Anywho to make a short story shorter, I brought them home, Googled the label and it turns out Greyhound Original is this really edgy, super rad label from Thailand! Who knows how they ended up at GoodWill.
I also learned that there is a Greyhound Cafe or rather six of them, and Another Hound Cafe, all of which are gorgeously designed in their own unique way. How inspiring as I am working on a restaurant redesign as well...but I'll save that for when it's something to actually talk about! For now here are some pics from a few of the restaurants that inspire me.
Above are the after shots of the bedroom redesign I did for my sister. The painting is by artist Tommy Hilding, and that light bulb on a cord I couldn't find a place for in my home has found one in Rory's room. Below are the before.
Please excuse my lack of blogging lately. I've been crazy busy and all I can seem to do in my free time (which is non-existent these days) is sleep!
I did manage to do a little bedroom redesign for my little sissy poo who is home from college for the summer and will be posting that as soon as I have time to go through the pics.
The garden box is in full bloom! I can't wait until I can actually eat the veggies, which from the looks of it should be very soon! Oh and Ali is really excited too.
I've fallen hard for these Lucky Beam benches from The Katch Design Company. They specialize in sustainable furniture hand-crafted in Brooklyn NY. I want the blue one! Is it just me or is everything cool and designy happening in Brooklyn. Damn hipsters.
